Tour Description


One of the most alluring region Ladakh, which is the most prominent for its beauty, culture and traditions along with the beauty of its high remote mountains and upper Indus River Valley. Ladakh is a dry region, with average rainfall of 100 mm, hence is known as a cold desert which attracts most discerning tourists. The culture is influenced by Indo Tibetan, Ladakh is also called The Land of Mountain Passes. The region comes under the state of Jammu and Kashmir, it is the home of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, high passes, sand dunes, little hamlets and beautiful lakes.

Our package ‘Hidden Ladakh’ which give you chance to explore the hidden treasures of the region. The duration of the package is 14 nights and 15 days, covering Delhi,Leh,Tso Moriri,Sarchu ,Tandi,Manali, Dharamshala and Amritsar.


Day 1: Delhi

On arrival at the Delhi airport, our representative will meet you at the airport, transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed for city tour of Delhi, which will cover the major sites of the city such as India Gate, Parliament House, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, Humayun Tomb and Red Fort, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Chhatrapur Temple. Later in the evening, enjoy dinner in one of the finest restaurants of Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Leh

Today early morning transfer to the airport to board flight to Leh. On arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotels and have the breakfast at hotel. Rest day is free just relax and keep your body to adjust the high altitude. In the evening you can roam around to the markets of the Leh, where you can buy the ethnic jewelry made from the coral and pearls. Spend night at the hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Leh Sightseeing

After early morning breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Stok village. The Namgyal royal family of Ladakh has been living in the Stok Palace since they were ousted by Jammu’s Genral Zarawar Singh. The Palace also houses a museum, that the only part of the complex which is open for tourists. The museum houses old weaponry, coins , government seals and some wonderful thangka paintings, antique robes and royal jewelry featuring red coral and turquoise gems in its design. Later visit Stok Gompa, associated with the yellow-hat sect of Buddhism. In the afternoon visit the beautiful Leh Palace also visit the Sankar Gompa, which is located at the distance of 2 Kilometers from Leh.

Evening visit the Tibetan Refugee camp, which is an important study center of Tibetan literature, Buddhist philosophy and history. Return to the hotel at late evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Leh

Post breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Alchi. En-route, visit the Lamayuru Gompa and Likir the Lamayur Gompa is located in Lamayuru village, visited by a large number of tourists for its lunar landscape. It is the earliest surviving monastery of Ladakh, known as Yung-drung or the Swastika. The monastery has a small temple devoted to Avalokiteshwara. After the visit resume your drive to Alchi- Ladakh’s most visited monastery of Ladakh. It is the only monastery built on the flat ground in Ladakh. Return to the hotel at late evening. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5: Leh - Tso-Moriri

Today after early breakfast, drive for full day excursion to the Tsomoriri Lake. The high altitude Trans Himalayan lake of Tso Morriri lies within the Changthang cold desert Sanctuary and stretches over 19 kilometers. On the way, visit the Sumdah Village. After visiting the village, drive to Tsomoriri lake, which is 55 kilometers away from Sumdah Village , it is the breeding ground for varied species of birds. It is one of the most stunning fresh water lakes in Ladakh. Enjoy an overnight stay in Camp.

Day 6: Tso - Moriri

After breakfast, proceed to visit Tso-Moriri village and view the beauty its Sanctuaries and also visit barley fields at Korzok that are amongst the highest cultivation in the world. The Gompa set on top of the village belongs to the Gelugpa sect, it is about 360 years old and has 35 resident monks. In the afternoon take a walk in the area around the lake. Have your dinner and overnight in camps.

Day 7: Tso-Moriri - Leh (via Tso-Kar - Taglang-La)

Today morning, after early morning breakfast, drive for Mahe village. It is one of the most picturesque village, having shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon to which will be the life time experience. Later visit to Puga valley which is famous for Butan gas. Resume your drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass. En-route visit Tsokar Lake and Thugke Gompa. Continue driving towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.

Day 8: Leh - Sarchu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for Sarchu. Which is located at the distance of 222 kilometers away from Leh. It is a major halt point that provides for tented accommodation on the Leh-Manali highway.  While driving to Sarchu, stop midway at Upshi to visit Hundur and Hemis monastery.  Tibetan monastery is the one of the biggest in Ladakh which is located approximately 45 kilometres from Ladakh. The existence of this monastery was before 11th century but it was rebuilt 1672. The honor of Lord Padmasambhava; every year this monastery host the cultural and traditional festival, Enjoy an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 9: Sarchu - Jispa - Tandi

Post breakfast, proceed to Tandi via Jispa. While crossing Jispa, you can view the stunning view of the surroundings that pass through. On arrival at Tandi check-in at Camp. Rest and is free at leisure. Further proceed to explore the source of the Bhaga River. The pass is also the source of the Chandra River, which flows in the opposite direction to the Bhaga and later joins to form one river. In the evening return to the Camp for overnight stay.

Day 10: Tandi - Manali Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Manali by road. Located at an altitude of 2,050 meter in the Beas River Valley, near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in India and is known for its snow clad mountains and impenetrable pinewood forest. On arrival check into your hotel. Post lunch, proceed to visit the major tourist attractions like Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monasteries, Manu Temple and Solang Valley. Also enjoy Vashist springs for a hot Sulphur spring bath. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: Manali Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Rohtang Pass, located 51 km from Manali, 3978 meters high, which for centuries was the gateway to the trading routes that led to Lahaul, Ladakh and Central Asia. From the crest of the pass, one can take in a sweeping panorama of Mountain Ranges, Pinnacles, precipitous cliffs, ridges, huge glaciers, moraine and deep ravines. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Manali.

Day 12: Manali - Dharamshala Sightseeing

After having breakfast, proceed to Dharamshala, which is about to 216 kilometers away from Manali. While travelling can enjoy the breathtaking views of snow caped mountains along with the lush greenery and feel the cool breeze spread all around. Dharmshala, the headquarters of Central Tibetan Administration and Dalai Lama's residence in McLeod Ganj are in Dharamshala. is surrounded by dense forest consisting mainly of Deodar tree apart from this it also have the various streams, cool healthy air and attractive surroundings. It is the perfect holiday destination where you can feel the rhythm of life and yet peaceful. After arrival in Dharamshala, check-in at the hotel. After freshen up visit the ancient temples of Jawalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda. Later in the day visit the war memorial and the Kangra Art Museum. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Dharamshala

Today after breakfast, proceed to visit to Namgayal and Macleodganj monastery and Church of St. John in the Wilderness and the Kotwali bazaar. During the evening trek through the landscapes of Dharamshala to enjoy the views of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. Return to the hotel for comfortable night stay.

Day 14: Dharamshala - Amritsar Sightseeing

Post breakfast, drive straight to Amritsar. Upon arrival in Amritsar, check-in to the hotel. After relaxing for a while, proceed to visit the Golden Temple. Later in the day visit Jalianwala Bagh, the historic site where hundreds of men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer. In the evening visit Wagah Border for witnessing the Flag Retreat / Changing of Guard Ceremony. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15: Amritsar - Delhi

Today is the last day of the tour, breakfast at the hotel.  Morning is free at leisure. Later in the evening, transferred to Amritsar Railway Station to board a train to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi our representative meet and proceed you to one our listed restaurants for farewell dinner. Then transfer to the Delhi airport to board a connecting flight for your onward journey.
